BainHWC is an out-of-network practice and does not contract with any insurance company.
Many families are still eligible for partial reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. You can check your coverage in a few seconds using the Benefit Checker, or contact your insurance company directly to ask what applies to out-of-network care.
We’re happy to support your claims by providing detailed receipts you can submit for reimbursement.
Fees vary depending on the clinician. The intake/psychological evaluation range from $350 to $400, and follow-up sessions range from $250 to $300.
We offer a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation so we can hear about what’s bringing you in and talk through your goals together. If it feels like a good fit and you’d like to move forward, we’ll go over the specific fee and send over the intake paperwork along with a secure link to enter your payment information.
1. The intake process begins with a complimentary 20-minute initial phone consultation to discuss your concerns and goals for treatment, as well as our fees. An intake and following sessions will be scheduled during the call if we decide to move forward.
2. During the 50 to 60 minute intake, the therapist will conduct a psychological evaluation to understand what’s bringing you in. In most cases, they’ll meet with parents and the child separately to gather both perspectives, though this varies with the child’s age and concerns. You’ll be asked some questions and invited to complete a few questionnaires that give us a fuller biopsychosocial picture.
3. During the first session, the therapist will discuss findings, establish a treatment plan with you, and consider the suggested length of treatment.
The intake last 50-60 minutes and following sessions typically occur weekly for 45-50 minutes.
The length of treatment will be discussed during the first session and vary based on several factors, including the nature and severity of issues, frequency of sessions, and how often skills are practiced in between sessions. On average, most clients are seen in weekly sessions for 4 to 6 months.
It is essential for clients to attend sessions to get the most out of treatment. If you cannot attend a scheduled appointment, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid paying the full rate for a missed session.
