THERAPY

“Promise me you’ll always remember — you’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

– Christopher Robin from Winnie the Pooh

Therapy plays an important role in addressing challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, autism, OCD, and more. It also supports the holistic development of children, teens, and young adults by addressing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. BainHWC provides high-quality, evidence-based mental health treatment to individuals with a wide range of mental and behavioral health concerns.

Additionally, we offer support to caregivers in a non-judgmental environment. We highlight individual strengths and focus on areas for growth and symptom reduction to help youth and families cope with life’s stressors. BainHWC provides treatment in English, French, and Haitian Creole.

Next Steps

If you want to move forward, the next step would be to schedule a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation. This consultation helps us learn more about what you’re looking for and allows us to answer any questions you may have about therapy. It is also during that call that the first session, also known as an intake, will be scheduled.

At BainHWC, we believe that it is important to start therapy with a psychological intake assessment. This assessment aims to identify treatment goals, strengths, and weaknesses, provide a diagnostic presentation, and use the information to identify the best evidence-based intervention. Following the intake session, the therapist will collaborate with you to create a plan outlining the most effective ways to meet your treatment goals.
